Teacher Support.

The spirit of generosity and mutual support.

While some of what I do involves fees, much of my work with individuals is based on mutual support and generosity.

In Buddhist terminology this is the practice of dana, commonly translated as generosity. It is in fact a mindfulness practice: one can explore at those moments when one is feeling generous or not, and what is actually happening in the mind, heart and body. In this context, particularly of meditation mentoring, I offer you the opportunity to practice dana. I don’t charge a specific fee—though I do suggest a range, as people often ask for guidance.

In the case of couses, Somatic Experiencing sessions and MBSR Teacher Mentoring, I do charge fees but I offer a sliding scale. The vision, in all cases, is to make what I offer available to as many people as possible and to trust in the abundance of gift economics.

You should know that I do the same with my own teachers. As they support my practice, I offer material support so that they can continue to do what they do. I also donate a percentage of my income every year to organizations causes aligned with compassion and equity.

Thank you for your generosity. This support allows me to continuing doing what I do, and to make it available to as many people as possible.
