Hi there! I am so glad you are here. I support individuals, teachers and communities in their journey with meditation and mindfulness. I invite you to sit with me in Chicago, New York or on-line!

New: MBSR Courses in Chicago

So, how are you working with your stress levels these days? Do you go into freeze-mode under the duvet? Or do you over extend yourself trying to spin all those plates in the air to allay your anxiety? Are you so stressed and anxious you don’t remember what is feels to not move through the world this way?

We all carry stress to some degree. Whether it stems from illness, chronic pain, financial pressures, strained relationships, caregiving responsibilities, work related challenges, or the constant barrage of distressing news—the sources are endless. Even everyday minor challenges can trigger overwhelming reactivity when they hit a body and mind already stretched thin.

But here's what's remarkable: we all possess extraordinary capacities for resilience, creativity, and skillful response to whatever life brings our way. The key lies in mindfulness.

Fall courses in Chicago, in Hyde Park and Andersonville, start in October.

Diggin’ the Dharma Podcast

Check out my podcast with my good friend Doug Smith. It’s a relaxed discussion of the Buddhist Dharma between fellow practitioners. I tend to be practice-centered, while Doug is more focused on the scholarship of the early Buddhist texts, so our approaches balance each other out. And we have fun.

MBSR Teacher Mentoring

I work with new MBSR Teachers and experienced teachers seeking to deepen competencies.

Meditation Mentoring

Wherever people are on their mindfulness journey, be it weeks old or decades long, I work with individuals to deepen their practice.

Somatic Experiencing

For those seeking to work on trauma somatically, I offer support grounded in mindfulness and SE.

I am honored to have been invited by Tricycle, the Buddhist Review, to offer a series of short talks on the theme of “Joy in Uncertainty.” All four talks are now freely available on my channel.

Working with Teams and Organizations

I work with internal mindfulness advocates to develop programs which support individuals and teams to thrive and cultivate healthy workplace environments.
